Commonly Encountered Problems

Phimosis 

Is present when the orifice of the foreskin is constricted preventing retraction of the foreskin over the glans.
Dorsal slit by laser is sufficient to release the prepuce and yet keeping it intact.

Undescended testis

 

Is on of the most common congential genitourinary anomalies. Men with a historyof an undescended testis are at risk for infertility and testicular tumors.

At surgery they hidden testis is brought down to the ipsilateral scrotum 

Varicocele

Abnormal dilatation of the veins in the scrotum is seen in 15% of the males 40% of infertile males.Treatment leads to  improvement in sperm count much necessary for fertilization and preganacy.

Vasectomy & Vasovasostomy

Vasectomy is a simple and highly effective and most popular contraceptive method which can be done as an outpatient procedure.

Vasovasostomy and vasoepididymostomy are microsurgical methods to connect vas ends for reversal of vasectomy and treating obstructive azoospermia.

Hydrocele infertile and adult

Hypospadias

Hypospadias is a common congenital birth defect where the opening of the urethra is not located at the tip of the penis, but rather on the underside or shaft. It typically occurs due to incomplete closure of the urethral folds during fetal development.

Torsion Testis

Should a boy or young man complain of sudden, intense pain in the inguinal region and of vomiting, it should be treated as a medical emergency. Immediate surgical exploration/operation may be required to save the testis of infarction.

Priapism

Pathologically prolonged erection without libido.
